Our client is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with 10+ years PM experience for a potential 2 year contract. Project Manager will lead and manage the efforts of the Project Team to achieve the objectives of the project to meet project requirements. The Project Manager is expected to work competently using several project management methodologies including but not limited to waterfall, agile and hybrid. Public Sector experience is required.
Start Date : March 2025 Flexible
Duration : Initial 6 months contract + 18 months extension
Location : Remote / Winnipeg, MB
Schedule : 7.25h / day M-F
Qualifications
The following are minimum qualifications and / or experience for the delivery of the Services. You must have the following minimum qualifications or experience : Minimum of ten (10) + years of experience managing Information Technology projects
Valid PMP Certification or Prince2 Practitioner certification.
Expertise in project lifecycles, and project planning including Resource, cost, and schedule estimation.
Experience developing business cases
Experience planning and managing projects in a Public Sector organization
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
Strong facilitation skills
Strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
