• What You Will Accomplish with Us
• As a Paralegal, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities :
• Prepare and review subscription documentation for private placements (funds, limited partnerships, co-investments, etc.).
• Coordinate the signing and follow-up of legal documents with internal and external parties.
• Ensure compliance with KYC documents for the group's investing entities, in collaboration with internal teams.
• Participate in the process of establishing business relationships with counterparties, including collecting required information, verifying documentation, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Maintain up-to-date legal databases.
• Participate in the improvement of processes and document management tools.
• Work closely with other paralegals in the legal services to ensure information sharing and consistency.
• Provide legal support to members of the legal services - investments team.

• We are looking for someone who :
• Is known for their strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Excels in a dynamic environment and can handle multiple files simultaneously.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of teamwork.
• Is recognized for their knowledge of Office suite software and IT skills.
• Has 5 years of experience in corporate law.
• Holds a College Diploma in Legal Techniques or equivalent training.
• Has an advanced level of French.
• Has an advanced level of English, as the role involves participating in meetings and tasks related to reading, analyzing, and drafting documents in English with colleagues and internal and external partners across Canada and the United States on a weekly basis.
