Civil Project Manager

Our client, a heavy civil construction company is looking for a Project Manager to join their Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop Site Work Schedules : Create and manage site work schedules, ensuring all environmental and safety requirements are met before project initiation.
• Resource Management & Budgeting : Prepare and track budgets, manage costs, and ensure resource allocation aligns with project needs.
• Contract Administration : Oversee contract administration, manage relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure project compliance and quality.
• Client Meetings & Problem Resolution : Initiate and participate in meetings with clients to resolve issues, address design changes, and ensure project alignment with client expectations.
• Team Leadership & Coaching : Act as a mentor and resource for your team, providing guidance and support to foster a high-performing work environment.
• Design Compliance : Ensure all construction activities adhere to approved design specifications and standards.
• Problem Resolution : Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and quality.
• Progress Claims & Invoicing : Generate and submit progress claims and invoices to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
