Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Forklift Driver to join our client's manufacturing team in Belleville, ON. Our client, Ya YA Foods is a fast-growing, dynamic manufacturer specializing in liquid foods and unique beverage products. In this role you will be responsible for safely handling, moving, and organizing products within the warehouse environment. This role ensures efficient flow of materials, accurate inventory management, and compliance with all safety and quality standards. You should be safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in warehouse or manufacturing settings.
  • Pay Rate: $ 22.00/hour

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift safely and responsibly to move products, pallets, and skids throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload pallets of finished goods from palletizers and rotating wrappers.
  • Maintain warehouse organization to ensure pallet locations remain available for finished product storage.
  • Utilize RF scanning equipment to manage and track inventory.
  • Complete daily equipment safety checklists and follow standard battery charging procedures.
  • Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and periodic inventory checks.
  • Adhere to all company policies related to workplace safety, occupational health, environmental protection, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Follow the company's Integrated Management System, including Production, Quality, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of forklift operating experience required.
  • Prior experience in a plant, warehouse, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Strong basic math skills and accuracy with numbers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
