Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of wood and building materials, is expanding, and opening a new store in Kingston. They are seeking motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representatives to join their growing team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly, and expert service to our customers. Reporting to the Store Manager, your key duties will include :

• Building strong relationships with contractors and other clients to drive recurring business
• Delivering excellent customer service, from greeting and qualifying customers to recommending products and closing sales
• Offering expert advice on a wide range of wood products to help customers find the perfect solutions
• Handling sales desk duties, including answering phone and email inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating logistics
• Maintaining a neat and organized store environment
• Other tasks as required

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have great industry knowledge and be able to "hit the ground running" on the sales floor.  To get you up to speed quickly, 1-2 months of comprehensive training will be provided at their head office and retail location in Manotick, Ontario.
