We’re Hiring : Junior RCIC (Remote | Part-Time | Mentorship-Focused)
Are you a newly licensed RCIC who wants to build confidence, sharpen strategy, and grow a practice without giving up ownership of your own files?
We’re a small, collaborative immigration consulting firm looking for a Junior RCIC for a thoughtfully structured role that blends independent file management with hands-on mentorship .
This is not an “all assistant” role — and not a sink-or-swim consulting role either. It’s both. By design.
How the Role is Structured
This position is clearly divided into two parts , with boundaries that protect your professional autonomy :
Part 1 : Your Own RCIC Files
You will :
- Maintain full control and responsibility over your own client files
- Conduct consultations, prepare applications, and communicate with your clients directly
- Make strategic decisions on your files (with optional mentor input when needed)
- Build confidence in file ownership, time management, and professional judgment
These files remain your responsibility as an RCIC , not delegated or reassigned.
Part 2 : Assistant Role (Mentorship and Skill-Building)
You will also work alongside a senior RCIC in an assistant capacity to learn how complex files are built from the inside out.
Assistant duties may include :
This work is educational and collaborative , not clerical busywork.
An hourly rate of $20 per hour will apply for assistant based duties.
Mentorship : Built In, Not an Afterthought
The goal : to help you become a strong, confident, ethical RCIC , not just a faster one.
