HVAC Service Technicians core duties are as follows, but not limited to :
- On site service of HVAC / R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration)
- Preventative maintenance programs
- New installation or retrofit of heating and cooling systems (can be on construction sites)
- Start-up and commissioning of new and repaired equipment
- Trouble shoot, service and repair or installation of various control systems. (Understanding of BMS is an asset but not mandatory)
- Work on heat pumps and hydronic heating
- Install or repair gas fired appliances. Leak detection and gas pressure calibration.
- Provide repair solutions or recommendations to aid in project planning or quoting.
- Maintain and operate a company vehicle
- Participate in company COR safety program
