Job description
POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working with the client groups to understand their business needs, the HRBP is responsible for providing support and assistance to management and staff regarding the application of HR programs, policies and processes and leaves management.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Partners with the Talent Acquisition Department regarding employment functions, which include recruiting, applicant screening, and managing job postings. for internal / external candidates in accordance with company and legal guidelines. Partners with people leaders in facilitating the use of temporary employment agencies.
Serves as the point of contact at the facility level regarding human resource policies and procedures and responsible for guidance to all employees to insure consistent adherence to these.
Coordinates and conducts onboarding, payroll changes / assistance / support, leaves of absence, unemployment, hiring and terminations and submits proper forms to Corporate HR for processing.
Participates in all safety programs including all related meetings, committees, training, and reporting.
Coordinates, facilitates, and / or assists in all training activities within the facility (i.e. safety compliance, orientation programs, anti-harassment training, etc.).
Assists and conducts onsite employee relation investigations.
Advises HR Manager and management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
Effectively supports and fosters the company's Open-Door Policy.
Administers the Worker's Compensation and Disability program including documentation of illness, injuries and administration of potential claims.
Maintains all personnel records in accordance with EEO, privacy, and related requirements.
Promotes teamwork with all departments to build continual improvement within the company.
Coordinates and ensures regulatory compliance with the HR program, including posting required notifications, generating applicable documentation, and maintenance of employee files.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
