Job Description

In full expansion and a family owed business, our client, through its cutting-edge technologies, manufactures and distributes high end quality furniture internationally within the B2C and B2B markets with a special focus on the event industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Reporting directly to the President, the General Manager will oversee all the business operations of the company, as well as human resources, finance, production and distribution. He / she will manage a team and collaborate across a range of departments to lead the business to the maximum productivity and efficiency.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plan and execute strategic plans and implements them to guide the organisation towards achieving its objectives.
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
- Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
- Ensure the smooth functioning of various departments in the company.
- Coordinate activities across the organization, monitoring operational efficiency and handling emerging issues.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
- Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
- Oversee budget planning and financial management to ensure the profitability of the organization.
- Analyze costs, pricing, sales results and the organization’s financial performance and plan accordingly.
- Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Speaks fluently in English and French Experience in small-medium company Working knowledge of human-resources processes Proven success in a managerial role Strong decision-making ability Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
