The Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a full-time, contract (1 year, with possibility of renewal) Research Coordinator. Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Coordinator will work with Dr. Daisy Singla (Senior Scientist at CAMH) on a project that aims to build an open-access mental health training platform that combines AI-powered virtual patients, case-based learning, and feedback tools into a single training environment. This is a multi-site study with partners in the United States and India.
Key Accountabilities :
The Research Coordinator will collaborate with the research team and investigators in the coordination of the project. The successful candidate will be expected to :
- Lead day to day project coordination
- Facilitate communication between research teams at CAMH and the subsites, as well as with the technology partner and funder
- Ensure project milestones are met and deliverables executed
- Organize all training materials and intervention protocols
- Lead the preparation of research ethics submissions, project updates, and knowledge translation products, including reports and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of a learning management system (LMS), working alongside the technology partner
- Oversee data entry and data management (REDCap)
- Oversee data analysis among study team members
- Provide database training to, and supervision of, data management / entry staff as well as training study team members on an as needed basis.
- Inform, conduct and analyze focus group discussions
- Coordinate with contracted information technology consultants / companies on an as needed basis to ensure the proper functioning of server, computers, databases
- Help facilitate effective, cross-cultural, interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring smooth project execution and meaningful dissemination of results
- Lead regular meetings with Principal Investigator(s) and research study team to communicate project progress
- Provide administrative support on all elements of the project

Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate will possess a Master’s in psychology, health systems, or relevant discipline with 2 years relevant research experience.
The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and work effectively in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
