We are seeking a talented individual to join our H&B Consulting team at Mercer as a Health & Benefits Consultant . This role will be based in Montreal, Quebec City, or Ottawa. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to :
- Leading (or co-leading) complex client engagements, including managing overall service delivery, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, business placement, benchmarking and other studies
- Developing sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies and drive the development of tools and solutions to address complex client issues
- Effectively communicate Mercer's position on latest industry trends to clients
- Being accountable for revenue / profitability for client accounts and projects
- Generating sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and by leading prospecting efforts with new clients
- Setting strategic direction that creates demand for new products / services in the marketplace
- Review works related to the actuarial valuation of the obligation and expenses related to post-employment retirement benefits and / or post-employment benefits - using Canadian, U.S. and / or international accounting standards and according to the Mercer standards (optional);
