Weare seeking an energetic, tech-savvy, values-driven individual who ispassionate about people and focused on outcomes. As part of our highly skilled team at ParallelHealth, nurse practitioners provide primary care fee-for-service appointmentsto the general public. Their responsibilities encompass examining patients todetermine their cause of illness or concern, ordering lab tests and imaging,writing prescriptions, referrals to specialists, performing minor procedures,and working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the dailyoperations of a clinic run smoothly.

• OrganizationalSkills : coordinating multiple activities, providing primary healthcareservices, answering phones, emails correspondence, to name a few;
• Problem-SolvingSkills : you remain calm in stressful situations and tackle problems with afocus on finding positive solutions;
• ComputerProficiency : you must be comfortable using a computer for all aspects of yourwork and you will have an appreciation for technology;
• Detailoriented : there are many small, yet important, tasks that make the whole ofthis job and missing one can have a big impact; and,
• Empathy : everyclient can have unique and sometimes complex situations that require you tohave understanding and compassion.

If you : possess the above core competencies; are licensed through the College ofRegistered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador as a Nurse Practitioner,preferably with a community health care focus; experience working in a clinicsetting or providing testing services; a great(!) attitude; then we would loveto hear from you.
