About this role :
At Compass ELC, you will work as an Administrative Culture Lead alongside some of the industry's most passionate, caring, and dedicated educators. You will spend your time engaging, connecting, and learning alongside children, families, community partners and co-workers. You will support the administrative and licensing requirements within the program in support of the Operations, Human Relations, and Finance teams. You will model and grow a perspective of equity and strive for a deeper understanding of cultural awareness.
These positions will be hours per week, Monday to Friday. You must be available from am to pm every Monday to Friday. Hours will be determined to meet the needs of the program.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Facilitate and participate in staff meetings.
- Support a culture of collaboration, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Supports Educators in planning and implementing play-based experiences based on children’s interests.
- Administering payroll, billing, subsidy reconciliations, maintaining staff files, and coordinating staffing needs.
- Supports succession planning for both children and staff.
- Supporting successful implementation of the program budget in partnership with the team, co-leads, and finance.
- Adhering and supporting Ministry Licensing and Reporting Guidelines, CELC policies, and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with children, families, staff, volunteers, students, community partners, and school staff.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of equipment, furniture, and materials.
- Welcome new team members, families, and children into the program.
