Our client, a leading organization in the steel and industrial services sector, is seeking a Red Seal Millwright to join their team. As a Red Seal Millwright, you will be part of the Operations and Maintenance team supporting plant equipment reliability, facility maintenance, and production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, calibration, and equipment assessments to ensure operational reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, calibration records, and repair logs for plant equipment.
• Coordinate with operations and external trades to schedule and complete specialized repairs when required.
• Support facility upkeep, shop maintenance, inventory management, and safe work practices throughout the operation.

What’s Needed?

• Valid BC Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) with Red Seal Endorsement.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read equipment documentation and maintain detailed maintenance records.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance activities.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
