How you’ll contribute
The General Labourer is all about helping customers – whether that’s cleaning, servicing, loading and unloading equipment. It’s important to really listen, respond quickly, and show you care. We want every customer to have a good experience so we do our best to understand what they need and make sure they feel looked after. Responsibilities include :
- Ensure the upkeep, maintenance, and safety of all areas of the work environment.
- Daily equipment inspection and reporting any defects, damages, or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Clean and wash equipment.
- Possess excellent product knowledge and can effectively transfer this knowledge to customers. This includes explaining features and benefits, safe operating techniques, and promoting related accessories / products.
- Ensure every customer is treated in a fair and consistent manner, resolving issues as they arise.
- Follow all paperwork and computer procedures related to the servicing of the equipment.
- Maintain all inventory control documents to preserve the integrity of the Rental Management computer system.
