Rise Air is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Saskatoon, SK.

Reporting to the Controller, this role plays a key part in maintaining strong financial controls, delivering accurate reporting, and providing timely financial insights that support decision-making across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (ASPE) and Canadian tax regulations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including internal and external financial reporting.
• Work closely with the Accounting Supervisor and Controller to design, enhance, implement and monitor internal controls, workflows, and accounting systems as needed.
• Support the development and implementation of the Accounting Department\'s goals, policies, procedures, methods, projects and internal controls.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals and variance analysis.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Assist with Treasury management and cash flow forecasting.
• Reconcile and analyze various income statements and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis to support decision making.
• Other general accounting duties and special projects as assigned.
