Sienna Senior Living is one of Canada’s largest owners and operators of 70 seniors’ living residences in addition to managing 13 residences for third parties. Our Retirement portfolio is growing and we are entering new geographic regions. We are also repositioning the brand experience for our residents, our team members and communities to enable seniors live the life they deserve.

Join our growing team! We are searching for a Full Time General Manager at our Retirement Residence in Stonebridge Crossing Retirement Residence!  Relocation Incentive included for those who qualify!

General Manager Duties :

• Planning, directing and monitoring the effectiveness of all operational activities of the Residence
• Developing short- and long-term operational plans for the efficient operation of the Residence
• Providing leadership and direction to ensure all aspects of Quality Improvement Program are carried out as scheduled
• Supporting sales team members with internal and external initiatives that enhance the reputation of the Residence and maximize lead generating activities
• Monitoring all departments to ensure that the residence is tour ready at all times.
• Establishing marketing objectives with the Marketing lead on a daily, weekly, and monthly targets
• Reviewing the competitive analysis and making recommendations on annual rate increases and service enhancements or changes based on the trends in the community
• Fostering positive community partnerships with health and service providers, business leaders, civic officials, and other community agencies to promote the Residence as part of the community
• Seeking opportunities to ensure a participative working relationship within the provincial health care network
• Participating in the development of the annual operating budget

Requirements & Qualifications :

3- 5 years’ management experience in Retirement Living, Hospitality, or another relevant sector

Demonstrated community leadership

Flexible to adjust schedule to accommodate tours and events on weekends and evenings

Strong demonstrated leadership, time and budget management

Self-starter, with energy, enthusiasm and passion for working with seniors and persons with diverse abilities

Proven strong communication skills and the ability to interact with residents, families, community professionals and various outside partners
