Job Description:
Fast Fast Logistics, based in Scarborough, Ontario, is seeking a full-time on-call moving driver. This unique role offers the security of a full-time position while also being available to respond to last-minute emergency moving requests throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We offer a competitive and stable salary for this combined role, playing a crucial part in helping us meet the unforeseen moving needs of our clients across the GTA.
Responsibilities:
- Be available 24/7 to respond to emergency moving requests throughout the GTA of Toronto.
- Safely and efficiently operate moving vehicles, even in urgent situations.
- Load and unload furniture and belongings carefully and promptly.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the moving team and clients, even in high-pressure situations.
- Maintain and properly care for the moving vehicle.
- Meet established schedules and delivery dates for emergency moves.
Requirements:
- Availability 24/7 to respond to emergency moving requests throughout the GTA of Toronto.
- Ability to speak English fluently and perfectly.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds safely.
- Valid full G driver and #x27;s license in Canada.
- Adequate space to safely park the company van at your place of residence.
- Previous experience in moving or driving large vehicles is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive and stable salary for this full-time on-call position. The exact compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will depend on the candidate and #x27;s experience and skills.
