As we grow were looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations.

Position Overview :

Reporting to the Controller the Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities assisting with month-end processes and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform full-cycle accounting and maintain general ledger
• Prepare journal entries bank reconciliations and monthly financial statements
• Process accounts payable and receivable ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Assist with budgeting job costing and variance analysis
• Support payroll processing and government remittances (WSIB HST EHT etc.)
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes
