ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Clinical Manager the Psychologist is responsible for the assessment diagnosis prevention and treatment of behavioural and mental disorders and dysfunctions; and the maintenance and enhancement of physical intellectual emotional social and interpersonal functioning (Psychologist Act 1991). Key responsibilities include direct psychological services to both individuals and groups.

WHAT YOU BRING
Education / Experience :
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
- Experience in the provision of brief and moderate term psychological intervention including group and individual psychotherapy and behaviour management techniques with adults with serious mental health and / or addiction issues
- Experience in a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches with adults is preferred
- Experience in research program evaluation and knowledge transfer preferred
- Experience providing supervision to non-registered staff and / or students is preferred
- Experience working within an interprofessional team setting with the ability to work collaboratively as a team player with excellent relationship building interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
