Overview

Services Finance Manager role supporting the Life Sciences Systems segment reporting to the VP After Sales and Services for LSS. The segment handles >

$150M in annual revenue. The primary focus is to translate project team inputs into financial insights for planning and reporting, providing financial and analytical support for operations and sales activities, and contributing to the services function with significant operational insight.

Responsibilities

  • Finance lead for all finance-related topics : revenue forecasting, budgeting, cost overview, and return on investment.
  • Coordinate with finance and operational teams in ATS divisions for services with >

$150M in annual revenue.

  • Analyze service pricing strategies, identify margin improvement opportunities, and ensure cost efficiency across operations.
  • Provide financial insights for new service offerings, upsell opportunities, and customer retention initiatives to increase revenue streams.
  • Participate in review meetings to oversee project progress.
  • Prepare Services annual budgets, forecasts and long-term plans; identify risks; prepare an executive summary for the division.
  • Develop and implement a performance measurement system for the division, including implementation of the ATS Scorecard at the division.
  • Perform tasks assigned by members of the Executive Committee and Corporate Finance within the schedule.
  • Support day-to-day business activities to assist the VP After Sales and Services for LSS.
  • Contribute to internal controls and compliance by implementing robust financial processes and accurate reporting.
  • Plan, organize, direct and control financial reporting, accounting and general financial affairs of the division.
  • Maintain timely, accurate accounting records.
  • Qualifications

  • Education : A post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting or finance; a professional designation such as CA, CPA, CMA or CGA is a plus.
  • Experience : Minimum 7 years in corporate finance; experience in a services-driven organization preferred; manufacturing / cost accounting experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization; proficiency with PC-based accounting systems and software tools.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment; strong analytical, financial, and accounting skills; hands-on and deadline-driven.

  • Attend required health, safety and environmental training and report accidents / incidents.
