Reporting directly to the Chief Brand Officer (CBO), you’ll play a key role in shaping the creative identity of one of the fastest-growing basketball brands.This is a full-time, in-person role based in Burlington, Ontario, with opportunities for growth into new divisions after 1-2 years. If you’re passionate about sports and ready to make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you.RESPONSIBILITIESCreative LeadershipOversee all aspects of Brodie’s art direction and branding, ensuring consistency and innovation across designs.Lead the creation of assets for jerseys, apparel, social graphics, merchandise, special events, web, email, and app design.Maintain and evolve our creative identity to align with our brand’s mission and vision.Team Building & ManagementBuild and manage a team of junior designers, virtual assistants (VAs), and AI tools to streamline and scale design operations.Develop systems and processes to improve team efficiency, organization, and output quality.Mentor and provide constructive feedback to foster team growth.Strategic ImpactCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support Brodie’s expansion and ensure design excellence for every touchpoint.Generate bold, innovative ideas that resonate with our athlete community and stand out in the market.SCOPE OF WORK Apparel Design : Team logos, season jerseys, All-Star jerseys, custom team jerseys.Championship merchandise : T-shirts, rings, and other memorabilia.Staff apparel, tags, packaging, and accessories (towels, socks, lanyards, backpacks, bracelets, stickers).Web / App Design : UX / UI design for website and app, including about pages, features, and news articles.Graphic Design : Social media graphics for key events and milestones, such as sign-up promotions, season team counts, opening night, All-Star voting and events, season awards, playoff brackets, and finals.Email Design : Weekly email campaigns and flows designs to engage and inform our community.REQUIREMENTSExperience : 5+ years in lead design roles, including Art Director, Lead Designer, or other senior roles.Skills : Proficient in Figma, Photoshop, Canva, and other leading design tools with a strong eye for UI / UX.Leadership : Proven ability to lead a team, build systems, and provide mentorship.Mindset : A strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about sports and innovation.Detail-Oriented : Your designs are meticulous and embody the values of Brodie League.WHY JOIN US?
