Your Role & Responsibilities
- Leads and inspires a high performing Operations Team that supports Brenntag’s Core Values and the Brenntag Way execution for business conduct and compliance;
- Contributes to the delivery of service excellence to both internal and external customer groups;
- Builds and maintains a positive work environment by actively driving employee initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement and satisfaction;
- Manages operational activities to meet inventory and customer demand requirements;
- Manages District Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) and / or other applicable programs;
- Ensures staff are appropriately trained in emergency response, health and safety, and in the minimization of environmental impacts of District operational activities;
- Develops annual expense and capital budgets and manages operational activities to control expenses incurred by operations in accordance with the operations budget expectations;
- Develops, implements, and manages capital expenditure (CAPEX) and other projects, as required;
- Immediately reports all conditions that either could have or resulted in safety, quality, and environmental incidents;
- Inspects and verifies the satisfactory performance of all District facilities, equipment and processes, develops and recommends changes where necessary, and ensures that work areas are appropriately maintained, organized, and functional;
- Identifies and recommends changes or improvements, where appropriate, that enhance quality, health, safety, and the efficiency of processes;
- Ensures safety is the first priority and that all activities are conducted in accordance with quality, health, safety and environmental management system as well as corporate and local policies.
