You assist in the critical role of installing, maintaining, and modifying all electrical distribution systems on site. We're seeking a Certified Electrician for our Acheson, AB Remanufacturing facility, where you can utilize your Red Seal technical expertise, knowledge of PLCs and a couple of years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

The life of the Certified Electrician includes :

• You will work with a high-performance team dedicated to maintaining all mill machinery including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings, and pneumatic systems involved in the manufacturing process
• You will keep our systems running smoothly by performing preventative and predictive maintenance
• This includes inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
• You manage your time effectively by assessing carefully and can distinguish when to assemble, move, replace, or dismantle machinery
• You will apply your knowledge , skills, and experience to  troubleshoot issues, boost equipment reliability, and implement safe, reliable fixes to keep the site running
• You have great attention to detail to utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects
• You utilize your acumen to Inspect and test components of electrical systems , including transformers , transfer switches, and switch gears
• You are accountable for assisting in a safe work environment for coworkers, customers, and visitors on site with good housekeeping
• Other duties, related to the position, will be assigned as required
