Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

BBE is looking for a full-time, permanent Jr. Logistics Coordinator to join our Warehouse team. The Jr. Logistics Coordinator supports BBE in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients and is responsible for cargo handling and data processing. You are solution-driven and organized, pay close attention to detail, and provide excellent customer service to deliver the most outstanding value for our clients.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand Edmonton cargo operations critical points procedures, including temperature and time-sensitive Pharma controls.
  • Receiving cargo, including physical checks, documentation verification, and storage location tracking system.
  • Cargo loading and release, including physical cargo check against documentation and equipment checks.
  • Cargo build-up and handover, including proper placement in the applicable and segregated storage area.
  • On-hand stock reconciliation daily.
  • Comply with Good Distribution Practices and BBE’s CEIV Pharma standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients with prompt, clear and concise communication (oral and written).
  • Contribute to BBE’s continuous improvement and organizational efficiency goals.
  • Work in different software as required to meet business needs.
  • Keep track of incoming and outgoing products, equipment, and materials.
  • Consult regularly with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track shipments and handle errors according to BBE's process.
  • Promote, support and encourage BBE's vision, mission, and core values.
  • Portray positivity, enthusiasm, and professionalism in your day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Be a problem solver who is solution-driven and thrives to take on challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical school degree or other relevant logistics, inventory, shipping/receiving, or warehousing experience.
  • Forklift experience is considered an asset.
  • Logistics, inventory, shipping/receiving or warehouse experience is an asset.
  • Attention to detail and communication skills required.
  • You enjoy being part of a team and working closely with others to achieve success.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Proficient in MS software applications.
