• Open Availability (Mornings, Afternoons and Night shifts).
• Reception and Gatehouse Duties.

• Enforce regulations of the establishments.
• Visitor Access Control.
• Maintain order, follow, and adhere to post orders.
• Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
• Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Operate security control room equipment.
• Patrolling.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
• Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
• Report writing.

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• CPR Level C Certified.
• Good to have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Must be available to do shift work: Mornings, afternoon, nights & weekends.
• Good communication.

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
