Job description
We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join a well-established consultancy in Toronto. In this pivotal role, you will be a cornerstone of the design team, spearheading the electrical scope for a major international mineral processing project. You will coordinate and drive technical excellence through every stage, from initial feasibility studies to final project execution.

Responsibilities
Drive technical delivery as a core member of the design team, coordinating high-level electrical engineering for a flagship international mineral processing project from initial study phases through to final execution.

Qualifications
• A solid understanding of technical (E, I&C) principals relating to the large industrial & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate
• Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience coordinating / driving specialized electrical teams, on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scope
• LV design experience (PowerCAD proficient, LV MCC design, protection & coordination studies)
• Major project design experience throughout the design cycle
• Experience / exposure to project delivery
• Understand the project development process for juniors/mid-tier miners
• Provide specialized advice and guidance to client
• The ability to contribute / influence in a meeting; exercises good judgment on how to contribute, and collaborative behavior
