Job description :

The Engineering Director is responsible for the technological vision and overall performance of engineering activities. They lead the development of complex products from design to industrialization, ensuring innovation, quality, compliance, and financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the technological vision and guide product architecture choices
  • Lead and motivate multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Structure and optimize development processes (V-model, validation, prototyping)
  • Oversee full product development through to production
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, quality, and product performance
  • Manage budgets and optimize development costs
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and strategic partners
  • Contribute to strategic directions and technological roadmap

Skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years of product development experience
  • Experience in managing engineering teams
  • Expertise in complex systems and technological environments
  • Knowledge of standards, validation, and certification processes
  • Strong leadership, strategic vision, and results-oriented
  • Bilingual in French and English
