Take the next step in your career ­– come grow with us.What will you do?Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and RegulationsFollow safety guidelines (as per our Safety Manual)Meet quality standards (as per our Quality ManualPerform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managersOperate lathe and mill to manufacture custom or maintenance parts.Measure and examine specifications using mathematics, micrometers and vernier calipersCheck accuracy of work against blueprints and specificationsWrite basic programs for custom product linesEnsure parts are machined in a timely manner to meet production requirementsWhat do you need to succeed?Grade 12 education or equivalent (required)Saskatchewan journeyperson machinist certificate, or equivalent1 year accumulated manual/CNC machine shop experienceCapable of accurately reading calipers, micrometers, protractors and tape measuresTake accurate measurements and data recordingMathematical skills to include fractions, decimals and metric systemFamiliarity with basic tools and mechanically inclinedAbility to meet the physical demands of the jobAdequate reading and writing skillsAbility to read and comprehend blueprints, engineering plans, work orders, and specificationsHow to Apply: Once you click on the Apply for this Position button you will be taken to a page where you will have two ways to apply.
