Description:

Transports goods and materials over local, regional, or long-haul routes, operating heavy commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers, straight trucks) to ensure safe, timely delivery. Responsible for conducting pre/post-trip inspections, securing cargo, maintaining electronic logging devices (ELDs) for hours of service, and complying with all transportation safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • A valid commercial license (Class 1/AZ or Class 3/D), air brake endorsement (
  • ), and a clean driving abstract. Candidates generally need to pass medical/drug tests, complete mandatory entry-level training (MELT), and sometimes hold Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification.
