We are currently looking to fill a permanent full-time position for an Allocation Administrator for our Farms Production Department at our Leamington, ON location.
The Phase 6 Allocation Administrator is responsible to ensure commodities are allocated as per sales, production, and shipping schedules. They view sales order requirements, inventory volumes, and harvest projections to build daily production plans. This position works closely with the Warehouse Manager, Production Supervisors and Shipping team to communicate production plan adjustments and any issues or areas of concern. In addition, this position is also responsible for inputting data from production orders into Business Central and for creating / printing all pallet labels required for finished products.
Job Specific Duties
- Allocating product based on FIFO, inventory, harvest projections, and pack specifications.
- Communicating closely with commodity planners and warehouse team; monitoring sales orders regularly to ensure order entries are not missed.
- Creating the daily warehouse production plan, ensuring all orders are being covered, and adjusting items as required, based on details listed above.
- Manage commodities on hand by running daily reports on aged inventory ensuring FIFO is being followed, and part pallets are being consumed.
- Create and complete production orders in Business Central.
- Walkthrough cooler / staging area regularly and identify product that needs to be labelled.
- Provide reporting to warehouse team and management on daily packouts, including #2’s and waste.
- Ensure all pallets are tagged before they leave their respective lines.
- Communicate regularly throughout the day with Warehouse Supervisor and Line Leads to review and discuss changes in projections and sales orders.
- Accurately completing all related documentation and paperwork as required.
- Reporting operational issues or delays to the Warehouse Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Assist and contribute to a positive work environment, leading if necessary.
- Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.
