Summary : Under the general direction of the VP Sales Lapp Canada, this individual is responsible for managing his / her territory and achieving the monthly and annual sales targets; with a focus on supporting OEM Customers, Installers, Integrators, Design Houses and Cable Assemblers with Lapp product solutions. They will also manage the relationship and business opportunities with our authorized Channel Partners. Primary activities in this role are providing our customers with valued solutions to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and the pursuant of developing long-term customer relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Fluency in English and French is required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
COMPUTER SKILLS : To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have knowledge of Lotus Notes and internet software.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : Frequent travel by car or air is expected, as well as overnight trips to manage assigned geographical area. (3-4 days of travel per week avg.) A valid driver’s license and passport is expected to be maintained.
COMPENSATION : After thorough market analysis, LAPP takes many factors into consideration when determining base salary such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, etc. of the candidate. The base salary range for this role is $105,000 - $115,000 plus participation in LAPP's bonus plan.
