Agilus is recruiting for a Propane Service Technician in the fuel and petroleum supply industry in Ottawa, Ontario.

The Propane Service Technician is responsible for both residential and commercial customers. Installing and servicing an array of Propane dependent items including tanks and appliances. Our client has opportunities available in Ottawa, Bancroft and Belleville!

A typical day :

• Work will include - piping and tank installs, final connection to pre-installed equipment, appliance installs (such as fireplaces, furnaces, boiler systems, air conditioners, hydronic systems), gas check inspections, maintenance cleaning, removal of old propane tanks, service calls for no heat, no hot water, etc.
• Complete invoices along with any applicable forms or checklists depending on call type as soon as call is completed.
• Communicate with dispatcher and supervisor as day progresses to assist other technicians as needed or take a high priority call if required.
• Working with dispatcher, supervisor and senior technicians, complete all calls in a safe and efficient manner ensuring compliance to all legislative codes, standards and company policies.
