McCabe Promotional Advertising is one of Canada's largest (and many say the country's funnest) branded merchandise agencies. With offices in London and Ottawa, we source, design, and deliver merchandise ideas for some of the country's coolest brands nationally. We tailor solutions for our clients to help them drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty for their brands.

At McCabe, we believe branded merchandise should do more than put logos on products - it should create connection, spark conversation, and help organizations express who they are. We're looking for a Director of Marketing to help us tell that story better than anyone else in our industry.

This is not a traditional marketing role. We want someone who can combine creativity, technology, strategy, storytelling, and leadership to help us grow our brand, strengthen customer relationships, and modernize how we show up.

You'll lead our marketing and creative teams while helping McCabe become smarter, faster, more targeted, and more impactful through the use of technology, AI, and modern marketing systems. You'll help elevate our people, our ideas, and our purpose as a certified B-Corp.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to help create more "McCabe Conversations" - work and ideas that people actually want to engage with.

What You'll Do

Brand & Market Leadership

• Strengthen awareness and positioning of McCabe across the customers and communities we serve;
• Help shape and amplify the McCabe voice, story, and values;
• Develop marketing strategies that create meaningful engagement - not just impressions;
• Build campaigns and content that showcase our people, creativity, culture, and customer impact;
• Partner closely with sales leadership to design smarter, more connected customer experiences, leveraging customer segmentation to expand market exposure through pull-through campaigns;
• Help McCabe become recognized as a leader in thoughtful branded merchandise, sustainability, and design.

Technology & AI Enablement

• Identify and implement modern marketing technologies and AI tools that improve efficiency and effectiveness;
• Help evolve our sales and marketing tools to better target, support, and engage the right customers;
• Improve how we use data, automation, personalization, and content systems;
• Build and scale Business Development resources and tools tailored to key markets and core industry pillars;
• Explore new ways technology can support creativity, storytelling, prospecting, and customer retention.

Creative & Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a talented team of marketing and creative professionals;
• Help build a culture of creativity, accountability, curiosity, and experimentation;
• Identify talent gaps and recruit additional expertise where needed;
• Push for exceptional creative work and design leadership that differentiates McCabe in the marketplace;
• Encourage bold thinking and fresh ideas while maintaining strong execution.

• Help bring our B-Corp values to life internally and externally;
• Ensure our marketing reflects our commitment to people, community, sustainability, and responsible business;
• Find authentic ways to communicate the impact McCabe is making through our work and partnerships;
• Help align business growth with positive social and environmental outcomes.
