Job descriptionStrong hands-on experience in Java development, Java 1.8 and higher Good understanding of key concepts in Java like OOPS concept, Collections, Multi-threading, etc. Good understanding of Overall Calypso Architecture Hands on Calypso development and customizations, like Scheduled Tasks, Reports, Engines Understanding and application of Calypso APIs Good analytical skills, should be able to analyze business problems and provide solutions Good understanding of Calypso's message and sender frameworks Ability to write SQL queries and understanding Calypso database tables Good and effective communication skills Basic understanding of UNIX servers and commands Understanding of back office processes like SWIFT messages, Settlements, CREs, Accounting etc. Experience on Calypso's matching module Understanding of FX and MM products Experience of tools like Maven, Azure DevOps, gradle 7+ years experience on Calypso as a developer Strong hands-on experience in Java development, Java 1.8 and higher Good understanding of key concepts in Java like OOPS concept, Collections, Multi-threading, etc. Strong drive for Continuous learning and improvement Strong communication skills and ability to work in a geographically dispersed team Ability to write SQL queries and understand Calypso database tables Basic understanding of UNIX servers and commands Understanding of back office processes like SWIFT messages, Settlements, CREs, Accounting etc. Experience on Calypso's matching module Understanding of FX and MM products Experience of tools like Maven, Azure DevOps, gradle
Project description
Part of a 20 member team who provide CtB / RtB support for the Bank's Calypso platform. Specifically this role is for a Calypso developer with good understanding of Calypso APIs, JAVA, UNIX and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Run the Bank / Change the Bank function for the Calypso platform
- Assist with strategic (bank) initiatives to develop capabilities
- Work in Agile development teams on backlog stories to develop / enhance / customize the Calypso application
