Job description

Tasks

  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable, secure, and high-performing applications.
  • Participate in system improvements, integrations, and the development of new solutions.
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize and automate processes.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues in a production environment.
  • Contribute to system architecture and technology selection.
  • Implement and maintain development best practices and proper documentation.
  • Conduct code reviews and support less experienced developers.
  • Ensure system performance, data integrity, and overall quality of deliverables.
  • Maintain and enhance integrations between internal systems and third-party applications.
  • Participate in risk management and business continuity initiatives.
  • Provide advanced technical support as required.
  • Perform any other related tasks associated with the role.

Job requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in software development and systems analysis.
  • Proven experience participating in or delivering large-scale technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments and technologies such as .NET, VB, ASP (C# is an asset).
  • Experience with relational databases and data processing (SQL, ETL).
  • Understanding of application architectures, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Fluency in both French and an advanced English is required to collaborate with teams outside Quebec (approximately 50% in English).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI (an asset).
  • Experience in operations, logistics, or distribution environments (an asset).
