Our client requires a Windows End-Point Deployment Analyst to be responsible for complex work related to the design, implementation, and management of Windows enterprise desktop environments. This role is responsible for creating standardized desktop images; developing and implementing patch management and application deployment strategies; and ensuring that desktop environments are stable, secure, and up-to-date. The role is also responsible for Active Directory Group Policy design, and network and security configuration for the desktop environment.

Work is 100% onsite in Regina, SK.

Regina, Saskatchewan (Onsite)

Mandatory Requirements

MUST have minimum eight (8) years’ experience desktop engineering or a related field supporting a large scale (1000+ endpoints), mission critical enterprise in a 24×7 operating environment.
A recognized bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Must be able to lift packages of up to 25 lbs.

Desirable Requirements

Technical Skills :

SCCM administration & Patching SCCM Environment

Experience in creating and maintaining standardized windows images.

Windows Application Packaging & Task Sequences, Windows Installer, MSI and MSIX.

Microsoft SQL scripting, queries & reporting expertise

Microsoft SCCM imaging & software deployment

PowerShell Scripting

Managing Microsoft Updates with SCCM (Patch Tuesday)

Windows 10 / 11 Technical Experience

Experience Managing Microsoft Applocker Policies

Experience with Active Directory Group Policy design, configuration, management.

Desktop & Laptop Computer Configuration, Troubleshooting & Repairs

Desired Configuration Management (DCM) experience

Experience working within Incident, Change and Problem Management processes.

Other Skills / Abilities :

Minimum 3 years’ experience Computer Support (Tier 2)

CompTIA A+

Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting Ethernet and IP configuration

Experience with Lenovo Desktops & Notebooks

Experience with Panasonic Ruggedized Toughbooks for field workers
