Duties

Are you looking for a career change and interested in joining the federal government. We have a couple positions that we are looking to staff.

The Junior Program Support position is responsible for processing the mail that comes into Non-Insured Health Benefits. You would also be responsible for completing some data entry.

The Program Support role is responsible for verifying all the billing that comes into our office. Once verified, they submit it to our finance hub for payment.

This could be an opportunity for you to develop new skills and further develop skills you already have; such skills include attention to detail, improved computer skills and prioritization.

Work environment

Non-Insured Health Benefits is a unit of Indigenous Services Canada which is the Federal department responsible for helping First Nations and Inuit people of Canada to maintain and improve their health, while respecting individual choices and circumstances.

Intent of the process

A pool of qualified or partially assessed candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements, various security requirements, various conditions of employment, various tenures (acting, assignment / secondment, deployment, term and / or indeterminate), and in various locations within Indigenous Services Canada, Saskatchewan Region.

Depending on the needs of the organization, a random selection may be used at any time during the inventory process to establish which applicants from the inventory will be assessed.

Re-evaluation period : If you submitted an application and / or underwent assessment and were found not qualified, you may resubmit an application to be considered after a 6 month waiting period, from the time when the last application or assessment was completed.

A notice that your application is about to expire will be posted to the My jobs menu of your account 14 days before the end of your active period.

If you do not take action, your application will no longer be active and therefore no longer considered for this inventory.

Successful completion of Secondary school or employer- approved alternatives (a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma;

or an acceptable combination of education, training and / or experience).
