We are seeking an experienced Design Manager specializing in municipal water and wastewater systems to join our dynamic and growing multi-disciplinary Infrastructure team in Ontario. This role emphasizes the technical delivery of detailed designs for water and wastewater sewerage system, force main design, tunnelling operation, and distribution systems. As Design Manager, you will bring strong communication skills, collaborative leadership, and a passion for high-quality engineering solutions.

You will have the opportunity to participate in our hybrid work model, offering flexible work hours and a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration in Mississauga or Bowmanville locations.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee the technical design delivery of municipal infrastructure, water and wastewater conveyance projects through all project phases, from concept to construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including process, structural, electrical, building mechanical, and architectural experts to ensure cohesive and technically sound designs.
• Lead the civil engineering discipline on multi-disciplinary projects
• Provide technical direction and quality oversight on design deliverables such as drawings, calculations, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Monitor and manage design schedules, technical scopes, and quality control processes to meet internal and client expectations.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders throughout the design and implementation process.
• Manage, mentor, and guide intermediate and junior team members to strengthen design knowledge and professional growth.
• Collaborate with project managers to support the successful execution of project budgets, schedules, and client communications.
