The Opportunity : Recruitment & Communications Assistant (Temporary, full-time)
This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement Job Classification : Clerk I
The Domestic Recruitment Team is seeking a passionate Olds College student or graduate to join and support our domestic student recruitment activities.
This unique role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and engaging work environment, support meaningful experiences for prospective students, and help showcase the culture and community at Olds College, both on campus and throughout the province.
What you will be doing :
- Promotion and Advocacy : Respond to prospective student inquiries, conduct campus tours, and participate in student recruitment events to communicate program options and support students navigate the post-secondary system.
- Relationships : Support building and maintaining positive relationships with prospective students, parents and other stakeholders as an ambassador of the college.
- Presentation and Communications : Deliver dynamic and engaging presentationsand marketing materials to prospective students in urban and rural venues, in collaboration with Recruitment Specialists and On-Campus Experience Coordinator, and the Marketing and Communications department.
- Data and Statistics : Review data and statistics to assist with the development of recruitment plans in support of recruitment efforts.
- Other tasks as assigned.
