About Our Client Our client is sourcing a Junior Accountant to join their team.
About the Opportunity- Process accounts payable including invoice coding, approvals, and vendor payments (50-100 per month)
- Perform 3-way matching against purchase orders
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Record journal entries and maintain accurate financial data
- Support treasury activities including expense tracking (fuel, hotels, corporate cards)
- Manage cash receipts and assist with basic accounts receivable uploads
- Support month-end and year-end tasks related to AP, cash, and reconciliations
- Adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures
About You- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Treasury functions (required)
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (non-complex accounting environment)
- Experience working with purchase orders and three-way matching
- Exposure to NetSuite is considered an asset
- Experience in Accounts Receivable is considered an asset
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a transactional, deadline-driven environment
- No CPA designation required
