CGI is seeking a Data Engineer to join its teams and support the design and evolution of large-scale analytics solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong data engineering expertise combined with proven experience in general infrastructure planning a critical capability for building secure scalable and high-performing data platforms. This role is well suited for a proactive professional who thrives in complex fast-paced environments and is driven by innovation.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain robust ETL / ELT data pipelines
• Play a key role in general data infrastructure planning including architecture design capacity planning performance and scalability
• Collaborate with multiple teams (IT analytics business) to ensure successful delivery of data solutions
• Develop and support real-time data ingestion processes from various sources
• Build and maintain data models optimized for business intelligence and advanced analytics
• Implement and maintain integrations with external APIs (e.g. Google Salesforce SAP)
• Ensure compliance with security governance and regulatory standards (GDPR SOX)
• Contribute to best practices in data engineering and data architecture
• Act as a technical reference and actively drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
