Working Business Language : This role is considered a head-office role and will be required to communicate with internal stakeholders across Canada where the primary business language utilized is English.
Salary : At Wawanesa, salary is only one component of a holistic, comprehensive and competitive offering that we provide to our employees. The salary offered for this role is determined with consideration to various factors, including but not limited to : your work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity and the knowledge, skills, experience and anticipated proficiency in the role. The salary offered is estimated to be within the following range : $130, 000 - $155, 000. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are still encouraged to apply.

Job Overview
Do you have a passion for the under pinning Cyber Security within technology and business? Are you an expert communicator that enjoys making complex technical terms easy to understand? This role is primarily responsible for the design and implementation of systems and solutions for the Cyber Security team and ensuring that security reference architecture for enterprise systems and solutions are modelled and documented. The role of Senior Cyber Security Architect provides advanced knowledge and thought leadership to the Security domain; positioning the role as a highly experienced Cyber Security resource that can apply their knowledge to complex opportunities and support the Wawanesa Information Security Department in a diverse capacity.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing end to end solution architecture for the Cyber Security team.
- Develop and maintain current state security architecture models and artifacts.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of easy-to-understand security requirements.
- Provide direction and guidance to solution delivery teams to ensure solution design and implementation aligns to the target state security architecture.
- Identify functional and non-functional security requirements.
- Develop and execute upon enterprise Security Architecture roadmaps.
- Supporting the design and maintenance of Cyber Security Policies, Standards, and Guidelines.
- Supporting the design and maintenance of Cyber Security services and processes.
- Supporting Legal & Regulatory compliance.
- Provide thought leadership in the Security domain.
- Provide peer mentorship within the Information Security team.
