JOB SUMMARY: As a Laborer, your roleinvolves a great deal of attention to products being manufactured. You willassistOperators with all functions including daily output in line with production goals, gathering all raw materials needed,assistingwith equipment, and preventative maintenance. You will be a part of a team to deliver excellence in the markets we serve. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Ensure the daily output efficiency of each manufacturing line performs to or exceeds the daily production goal. Work with the Operator tomaintainallrawmaterials needed. Cross-trained and able toassistthe Operator with all manufacturing equipment. Assistwith monthly and yearly preventative maintenance schedules on all manufacturing equipment. Assist Operators, Mechanics, Maintenance Managers, and vendors on maintenance and training needs. Responsible for qualitycontrol/assurance/defects. Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe. Report any mechanical issues to the Operator or Mechanic. Assistwith pipe tobacco production asscheduledemands. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across teams. Willingto learn new systems, handle shiftchangesor increased hours when necessary, and cover various roles as needed. Minimum Qualifications Must be able to work inCanada andability toworkthe US/Canada border freely PREFFEREDQUALIFICATIONS Preferred one-year-relatedexperience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong teamwork skills. Ability toanticipateand solve problems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines. Tribal/status cards with application PHYSCAL REQUIREMENTS You must be able to lift and transport materials or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. Requires standing on industrial flooring for extended periods, as well as moving between workstations. Involves handling small parts, tools, and machine controls, requiring good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching tooperateandmaintainequipment. May be exposed to varying temperatures, loud noises, or outdoor conditions depending on the manufacturing environment. May involve climbing stairs or working on elevated platforms in certain areas.
