Business Development Manager – Labofine
As a Business Development Manager at Labofine, a Tentamus Company, you will be the key link between our laboratory and potential clients.
Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our comprehensive range of testing services. If you're a motivated, results‑driven individual with a knack for sales and a passion for science, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential customers through research and cold calling.
- Tradeshow set‑up and attendance.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs, providing solutions and support, and handling complaints and objections professionally and promptly.
- Track sales, provide regular reports on activities and results, analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities, and prepare and submit sales contracts and agreements (CRM tracking).
- Present, promote, and sell testing services using solid arguments to prospective customers while maintaining a deep understanding of the testing services offered, staying updated on industry trends and market conditions, and providing detailed information to customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and follow‑up. Maintain customer relationships.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns, collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and market insights, and participate in team meetings to provide input on sales strategies.
Qualifications
Position Type & Expected Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours per week | Hybrid | Onsite work at Labofine with travel up to 50% per year. Standard office hours with travel flexibility for client meetings and travel. Office and field environments, with regular travel to client and event locations as needed. The training period will be onsite for up to 6 weeks.
What’s In It For You?
Salary between CAD 60,000 – 65,000 + commission. 3 weeks of vacation + health insurance after 3 months + retirement plan.
