About the Role

We are looking for an Online Copywriter to join our team!

Reporting to the Creative Content Lead, the Copywriter is a dynamic professional responsible for creating engaging content for DAVIDsTEA’s digital presence, including email, website, and more. You will work closely with marketing, merchandising, and design teams to product high-quality copy across digital channels.

Responsabilities

• Write compelling and engaging copy that resonates with consumers and drives revenue
• Write and edit product descriptions, category pages, blogs and landing page content optimized for e-commerce performance
• Develop engaging copy for email campaigns, website banners, and digital ads
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to write copy
• Review and update existing content to improve clarity, accuracy, and performance
• Maintain consistent and compelling brand voice across all digital touchpoints
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure font, format, grammar, and style are consistent across the board so that copy is integrated into visuals seamlessly
• Work collaboratively with creative partners and cross departments
• Manage multiple projects at once while meeting strict deadlines
• Other projects as assigned by management

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in developing marketing content for various channels
• Bachelor’s in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other related field
• Proficient knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and integrating keyword strategy into online copy and content
• Combine creative writing with critical thinking; asking the right questions and waterproofing ideas from a conceptual perspective
• You are incredibly detail-oriented and organized
• Multi-tasker with impeccable time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must
• Team player willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
• An enthusiastic professional with a great sense of humour
