Job Overview :

Note : This is a term position 6 months fulltime (40hrs / wk) based in Halifax Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of Nova Scotia residency for 2023 tax year. Work will take placeon site at our Halifax office.

We are seeking a 2D Animator with solid skills in Adobe After Effects. In this role you will animate and refine text elements within existing projects. Youll use automation and AE scripts to improve efficiency and ensure consistency. This role involves structured repetitive tasks but offers the potential for a more creative opportunity upon completion. Were looking for candidates who are organized detailoriented and effective problemsolvers. This is a great role for someone motivated by the impact of quality educational media with a global reach.

Key Responsibilities :

Animate and reconfigure text elements within predesigned educational animation projects.

Work primarily with Adobe After Effects utilizing automation and scripts to streamline tasks.

Maintain consistency in animation quality and style across all deliverables.

Ensure meticulous attention to detail

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and improve workflow processes.

Qualifications :

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects with a strong understanding of automated processes and running scripts within AE.

Experience with 2D animation particularly in simple educational styles.

Entry to midlevel experience in animation or motion graphics.

Strong organizational and problemsolving skills with an eye for detail.

Ability to thrive in a structured somewhat repetitive task environment with a positive attitude toward future creative growth.
