Marketing Internship

Office Location : Halifax, Nova Scotia

Availability : Full Time with a minimum of 12 weeks availability

Compensation : Paid weekly and includes base pay, commissions, and bonuses.

Vibe Marketing is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and we are on the lookout for our next batch of Fall interns! We need interns who are available to start work in the next 2 weeks and are local to Halifax as these are in-person roles. Here is what Vibe has to offer :

The opportunity to learn & earn; Compensation is made up of base pay with bonuses & commissions. Full details are provided during the interview process, and can vary slightly from campaign to campaign, but are always within a similar annual range.
Comprehensive training will be provided in a range of areas including, events, marketing, business, sales and customer acquisition
In addition to learning transferable industry-specific skills, marketing interns are encouraged to expand their comfort zones when it comes to decision making, leadership, and public speaking.

Look no further… This is a paid internship with real responsibilities, not voluntary coffee runs and note taking! As a Marketing Intern, you’ll be the face of our client as you attract the attention of the public and explain our client’s products and services in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. You’ll be learning and applying basic sales, marketing, client relations, customer satisfaction, business and branding techniques.

Duties of the Marketing Intern role include :

Organize small marketing events within retail settings or other setting with heavy footfall

Completing presentations to members of the public, discussing our client’s products and services and raising their brand awareness

Working with the wider company marketing team to champion initiatives and campaigns as needed for the development of the overall business strategy

Complete multiple face to face presentations on a daily basis, attracting the attention of the general public, creating excitement and building great rapport

Complete a small number of new customer sign ups daily

Maintain the privacy of all customer details

Job Requirements :

Basic Requirements for our Marketing Internship :

No experience or education required, simply come with the willingness to learn.

Basic communication skills and the ability to work well independently and a part of a team is a PLUS!

All applicants must be 18+ years of age and eligible to work in Canada

All applicants must be available to start work within the next 2 weeks and have availability for a minimum of 12 weeks (we have 3,6, 9 & 12 month Internships available as well as permanent roles)

All our interns are required to attend the office daily therefore we are looking for interns local to the Nova Scotia region.
