CGI-Victoria is looking for a Director Consulting Services with expertise in Business Development and Account Management in the Vancouver Island region, a dedicated and experienced professional to lead all aspects of the sales cycle. In this senior leadership role, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, drive business growth, and lead complex technology engagements. You will bring deep knowledge of the public sector, technology, strong client relationships, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that create measurable value. If you understand the nuances of large accounts in developing incremental sales and have a consultative approach to participating in Account Management responsibilities, this role is for you!
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Grow the business by identifying and developing new opportunities aligned with market trends and client needs in the targeted Victoria market.
- Build and maintain a robust sales funnel through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship development with prospective clients, decision-makers, and influencers.
- Possess a deep understanding of the strategic direction for the local marketplace and develop integrated pursuit plans to fulfill the direction.
- Retain ownership of the sales management process, from opportunity identification to contract closing.
- Manage end-to-end statements of work, sophisticated client proposals by writing key sections highlighting the best of CGI.
- Work multi-functionally within our established Business Development processes, which include an accountability framework of defined sales calls and revenue targets.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the full range of CGI services and IP available to serve clients' best interests, drive market awareness, and promote CGI services.
- Measure and manage client satisfaction, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities as part of the business unit’s leadership team.
- Provide CGI's delivery teams with client insights, identify and nurture partnerships with industry-leading solution providers.
- Coordinate CGI's involvement in associations, conferences, universities, and other industry-related events.

“CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $105,000-200,000.
