Posting Overview :
The Lambton Kent District School Board is seeking a Registered Social Worker to support school staff to implement proactive interventions and strategies and build capacity of mental health awareness through education. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with community agencies and partners to ensure seamless and integrated service delivery for youth and their families. The Social Worker will serve as a member of our system LKDSB Multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with school administration and staff.
Qualifications / Experience :
- Successful completion of a Masters Social Work Degree program or equivalent from an accredited university;
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers or College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario;
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the role of Social Worker or Psychotherapist in a child welfare, educational, medical / psychiatric or other related setting would be an asset.

Temporary CUPE 12, 35 hours / week
Salary : $47.05 - $49.87
